This venue is the epitome of luxury and exclusive amenities, which fulfilled my every need. An elegant spa with an indoor swimming pool and sauna, sun terrace, and beautiful garden area made me feel utterly pampered. the room was spacious, quiet, and came with a private balcony overlooking mesmerizing views. In-room breakfast was a delight and beautifully presented. the restaurant was impressive, with a delicious buffet breakfast and a good catering service.
There was only one minor issue with this hotel, and that was the slow service at the bar/lounge area. Although the coffee and tea were exceptional, there were significant delays in the catering service, which detracted from the overall experience.

They have free rooms even if every other hotel in the Cologne area is booked.
To some rooms you have to go out of the hotel and walk in cold, snow, etc. to get to your room. Very cold rooms on the first night (no pre-heating). Extra charges for everything - would be fair if you were informed but you are not. Extremely expensive breakfast, ridiculously high price for wi-fi. Unexpected changes in the room services meals, etc. I'll never stay there again.

I chose it for its location. For someone who many years ago lived in Cologne, the area of Bergisch Gladbach always impressed me.I Also chose it because it was a member of Relais et Chateaux and I have yet to be disppointed by the standards of hotels within that group. It also had a good mention in Michelin and I know I could expect good food. I was pleasantly surprised by its situation and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the proximity of the forest and our chance to go for a good walk. In all respects. The hotel lived up to our expectations.

During my Xmas stay, I enjoyed the spacious rooms with modern amenities, including a mini-fridge and a coffee maker. the location was also great, with easy access to nearby tourist attractions and shopping areas. the hotel had an excellent restaurant that served a variety of delicious dishes.
The breakfast service was disappointing, with limited options and slow service during peak hours. the parking was also quite expensive, and there were no other parking options nearby.

The location of the hotel is incredible, as it is situated in an old castle within a beautiful park. the forest surrounding the property adds to the charm of the place. the hotel is also conveniently located in the neighborhood of Cologne, making it easily accessible for visitors. the 3-star restaurant in the hotel is a highlight, offering outstanding dining experiences.
Some guests have mentioned that the room lighting can be inadequate, making the rooms feel dark.

Schlosshotel Lerbach was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in. The staff was so warm and so personable. They spoke englsih very well. The breakfast that was offered in the Morning was just amazing, many choices to choose from. The waitstaff was very polite and helpful. We keep looking at the many photos we took and can not wait to come back.

I had a fantastic autumn weekend at this charming hotel. The old world setting and magnificent park were perfect for leisurely walks. The hotel also boasts one of the best restaurants in Germany, but make sure to reserve weeks in advance. The level of service was excellent, with the staff remembering our names and attending to small details. It was an elegant and relaxing experience.
While overall the experience was wonderful, there were a few negatives. The hallways leading to the spa area were dusty and in need of a vacuum.
